Insurance

Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage

ProCare offers a comprehensive health insurance package which includes your choice of an Aetna PPO, an Aetna Limited Medical Plan or a Kaiser HMO; Delta Dental and VSP Vision coverage. The insurance is available to all per diem and travel employees with a minimum commitment of hours. Eligibility begins on the first of the month after four weeks of at least 30 hours per week of employment.

Company-paid Basic Life Insurance

We provide no-cost basic life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. Supplemental life insurance for you and your dependents is available at a reasonable cost.

Free Professional Liability and Workers' Compensation

Whenever you are working for ProCare One, you are covered at no cost to you.

No Insurance Lapses

As a travel nurse, you may take time off between assignments with no lapse in your insurance coverage, provided that you start your next assignment with us on or before 30 days from the last day of your previous assignment.

Vision One Eyecare Program

Once hired, you are automatically enrolled in this cost-free discount plan which offers generous savings on a range of products and services at Pearle Vision, Sears Optical and other eyecare leaders.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

ProCare One’s EAP provides free counseling, referral and follow-up services for employees and their families.

Veterinary Pet Insurance

With veterinary pet insurance, your pets will be covered for more than 6,400 medical problems and conditions, subject to policy terms and conditions.

Auto and Home Insurance

Special group rates and discounts help save up to 10 percent on auto insurance alone. Ask about the guaranteed repair program and coverage for all of your personal property and liability insurance needs.

Competitive Pay Rates and Bonuses

401(k) Retirement Plan

Our 401(k) plan, provided through MassMutual, allows you to enroll after 90 days of employment. Unlike our competitors, we do not require a minimum number of hours for eligibility. This is great news for per diem nurses who do not work full time.

Refer your colleagues to ProCare One Nurses and earn between $500 and $1,000! Unlike other travel agencies who only pay bonuses after the nurse has completed the assignment, ProCare One pays a referral bonus after the nurse works only five shifts.

Weekly Direct Deposit

Have your paycheck electronically deposited each week directly into your bank account. If you are in a pinch and need an advance, we can provide you a check the next day.

Tax Advantages

Many people earn their wages in places where they don't live. As a result, the IRS has created a rate table that estimates the average food and housing costs for each U.S. city. These rates are called per diem or daily travel reimbursement rates. ProCare One blends these tax-free rates into its pay structure to maximize your take-home pay. As a result, you keep more of your money rather than paying more in taxes—often hundreds of dollars per week!
